Annotation Tape lets you mark a line in a book the way a highlighter would, then lift the mark away when you are done. The set holds three rolls of tinted clear tape in Hyacinth, Pistachio and Pimento, each narrow enough to sit over a single line of type. The tape tears cleanly by hand, so you can mark a passage mid-sentence without reaching for scissors.
Lay a strip over the words you want to keep. The tint lets the text show through while the color does the highlighting, and because the tape peels back off, the page underneath stays as it was. Write on it with an oil-based pen to add a label or a note in the margin, and a borrowed book can come back annotated without a mark left on it.
